A guide to the Churchill canon
I expect this page to be relatively slow in the building. Websites relating to Churchill are hardly uncommon. However, sites which deal entirely or partially with Churchill's literary activities are very much scarcer. Indeed, that's a great deal of the reason we are here in the first place. Preference here will be given to those sites which have at least some relevance to the Churchill bibliophile.
Links to booksellers are restricted to those dealers with whom I have had personal and positive experience.
For most aspects of Churchill's life The Churchill Centre site stands head and shoulders above the others. It's well worth a visit and a good browse around.
I have been buying books from Mark Weber of The Churchill Book Specialist for well over ten years - and I wish I'd had the good fortune to come across him earlier. A formidable collector himself, Mark combines encyclopaedic knowledge, a huge stock, and a genuine willingness to help. I've never had to return a dud.
I have taken great pleasure in dealing with Marc Kuritz over the past couple of years, as he has steadily transitioned from tending his enviable collection to joining the ranks of dealers as Churchill Book Collector. Marc has always been a generous contributor to the image library on Savrola, and is meticulously honest and straightforward in his book dealings. His stock is suited to all pockets, but is particularly strong in the harder to find items, and the outright rarities.
